No visible windows when run with --hide-status

When starting the sim with --hide-status no visible windows are created. I expected it to only hide the "LV Simulator Status" window.

With status window the screen is off message sometimes is on the wrong screen

With --hide-status I get a screen with the Screen is off message, and when I try to wake it up it just crashes

Just a bit of information about my PC and environment to maybe find similarities:

SDL2 library is actually sdl2-compat 2.32.64-1 with sdl3 3.4.2-1

I think I found a couple of rendering race conditions. We need to ensure we only update SDL from the main thread. Working on it.
