Contributing to RTX Code

We welcome contributions to RTX Code! Whether it's adding new AI provider adapters, enhancing tool sandboxing, or optimizing token compaction, your help is appreciated.

Development Setup

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/PsProsen-Dev/rtx-code.git
cd rtx-code

  2. Verify the toolchain:

    cargo --version
rustc --version

  3. Check code quality:

    cargo check
cargo clippy

  4. Build release binary:

    cargo build --release

Pull Request Guidelines

  1. Create a descriptive feature branch (feature/my-new-feature or fix/issue-description).
  2. Ensure cargo check and cargo test pass with 0 errors and no new warnings.
  3. Submit a Pull Request targeting the main branch.
