simple_sort.cu is not working in revision r648

Testcases fails with flowing errors:

Simple key-value sort: INCORRECT: [0]: 102400 != 4128
Small-problem key-value sort: INCORRECT: [0]: 102400 != 4128
Small-problem restricted-range key-value sort: INCORRECT: [0]: 47840 != 4128
