From 415202558263e29644e74409c26fbc21e28f7dda Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Dhruv Parekh Date: Mon, 2 Nov 2026 11:59:33 +0530 Subject: [PATCH] fix(deps): retire obsolete qs and follow-redirects overrides (+Claude) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Remove the `qs ~6.16.2` and `follow-redirects ^1.16.2` npm overrides. A fresh resolution without them already yields qs >= 6.16.2 (express 4.22.3 declares qs ~6.16.0) and follow-redirects 1.16.2 (latest, via axios), so the overrides no longer constrain anything. package-lock.json is unchanged and installed versions are identical before and after. Validated: build, 139 jest tests, 31 integration tests and the mocha unit tests pass; snyk test --all-projects shows no qs or follow-redirects finding. Committed with --no-verify, approved by the operator: the pre-commit Snyk hook fails on four pre-existing findings with no upstream fix (picomatch, adm-zip, deepmerge, minimatch) that this change does not touch. #claude_code# 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) Co-Authored-By: Claude --- package.json | 2 -- 1 file changed, 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/package.json b/package.json index 6bc8f8ce..57736f07 100644 --- a/package.json +++ b/package.json @@ -107,8 +107,6 @@ "prepare": "husky" }, "overrides": { - "qs": "~6.16.2", - "follow-redirects": "^1.16.2", "tty-table": { "csv": "^6.6.4" },
