Replaces a CI polling loop with one long call. Every other GitHub operation goes through the gh CLI, which covers everything and costs no tool definitions in the context window; the workflow-git-cli skill carries that command playbook.

Tools

  • github_ci_wait - wait for CI on a pull request (bound to its head commit), a commit, or one workflow run. It looks every 30 seconds, reports progress, and answers PASS, FAIL (the failed checks with their pages, log excerpts and the rerun command), TIMEOUT, NO CHECKS, HEAD MISMATCH or STOPPED.

Authentication

The ambient gh CLI login; the module reads no credential of its own. Run gh auth login once, in a terminal, for both harnesses. gh keeps the token in the system keychain when one is available and in ~/.config/gh/hosts.yml otherwise.

Configuration

None. git and gh must be on PATH.

Where it runs

  • Claude Code: the bridge loads it (isInClaudeCode: true in src/modules/registry.ts).
  • OpenCode: orchestrator, implementer and pr-reviewer allow github_ci_wait (opencode.json).
