Is there a plan to release soon? Last release was in Feb so there was no release in the last two simrels and they ship outdated features.

I don't think there is a reason against doing a release right now, but I'm not sure anyone is currently interested in doing it.
So if you or any other committer is willing to take care of, then feel free to create a release (PMI entry + tag + running CI job to promote; if I remember correctly), that would be welcome.

@akurtakov @mickaelistria @vrubezhny This friday is "new features" cut-off day for projects wanting to participate in SimRel 2025-12. I'd like to try to create a new release 1.4.0 and add it to SimRel. Any objections?
