Python Guardian stores job metadata, console transcripts, PANIC reports, Codex
preflights, and postmortems under %LOCALAPPDATA%\PythonGuardian.
When Codex supervision is used, relevant source context and failure evidence may be processed through the OpenAI account configured on the machine. Evidence can include paths, traceback text, console output, exception messages, and a redacted sample of local variables. Variable names associated with credentials are removed, but automated redaction cannot guarantee that every sensitive value will be recognized.
Python Guardian does not contain advertising or telemetry of its own. It does not upload job artifacts to the publisher. OpenAI Codex remains subject to the terms and privacy settings of the user's OpenAI account.
The skills-only PyGuard plugin does not operate a publisher-hosted service and does not send data to the publisher. Its status helper reads only command availability and local Guardian report paths. Its installer helper downloads the checksum-pinned public release from GitHub only after explicit approval.
