Python Guardian 0.1.0

The first public freeware release of Python Guardian for Windows 11.

Downloads

  • PythonGuardian-0.1.0-Setup.exe — current-user graphical installer; Python is not required to start setup.
  • PythonGuardian-0.1.0.zip — source package for inspection, modification, and manual installation.
  • SHA256SUMS.txt — SHA-256 checksums for both downloads.
  • PyGuard-Plugin-0.1.0.zip — complete skills-only Codex plugin package.
  • PyGuard-Skill-0.1.0.zip — skill bundle for the OpenAI review portal.
  • PyGuard-Plugin-0.1.0-SHA256SUMS.txt — checksums for both plugin bundles.

The setup EXE is not code-signed in this release, so Windows SmartScreen may show an unrecognized-publisher warning. Review the source and checksum before proceeding if desired.

After installation, right-click a Python file and use Show more options, or run PyGuard .\program.py [arguments] from PowerShell.
