Onboarding request: com.bigdata/bigdata-mcp (Bigdata.com) for github.com/mcp

[mkangrga]

Hi @hstaudacher @trent-j – per #1257, onboarding to github.com/mcp is still a manual step, so I'd like to request it for Bigdata.com's official MCP server. I'm sending the same to partnerships@github.com.

• Name: com.bigdata/bigdata-mcp
• Official registry: https://registry.modelcontextprotocol.io/v0.1/servers/com.bigdata%2Fbigdata-mcp/versions/latest (1.2.1, active, latest)
• Repository: https://github.com/Bigdata-com/bigdata-plugins-marketplace (README has install steps for VS Code, GitHub Copilot CLI and the other hosts)
• Remote: https://mcp.bigdata.com/ (Streamable HTTP). OAuth with PKCE via https://clerk.bigdata.com, with self-serve OAuth clients at https://platform.bigdata.com/oauth-clients, protected-resource metadata at /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource, or an x-api-key header for hosts without OAuth
• Docs: https://docs.bigdata.com/mcp-reference/introduction
• What it does: licensed, cited financial data for agents – 1.5B documents from 170+ providers across 12k+ sources (newswires, filings, earnings call transcripts, broker research, expert calls), plus company, market and portfolio tearsheets, screens and event calendars. It's already a listed connector in Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot Studio.

Happy to send security details or anything else the team needs. Thanks!
