From ea1606f55c32853500d4540fda31732da7c2f37d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Anthony Shoumikhin Date: Wed, 26 Aug 2026 21:42:11 -0700 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] Add the ETDump product to the SwiftPM package template Companion to the change that adds ETDump profiling to the Apple frameworks. The published SwiftPM manifest is generated from this template, so the executorch_etdump product has to be declared here too, or the released package would be missing it. Adds the executorch_etdump product, which depends on the core executorch runtime. --- .Package.swift/executorch_etdump/dummy.swift | 0 .Package.swift/executorch_etdump_debug/dummy.swift | 0 Package.swift.template | 7 +++++++ 3 files changed, 7 insertions(+) create mode 100644 .Package.swift/executorch_etdump/dummy.swift create mode 100644 .Package.swift/executorch_etdump_debug/dummy.swift diff --git a/.Package.swift/executorch_etdump/dummy.swift b/.Package.swift/executorch_etdump/dummy.swift new file mode 100644 index 00000000000..e69de29bb2d diff --git a/.Package.swift/executorch_etdump_debug/dummy.swift b/.Package.swift/executorch_etdump_debug/dummy.swift new file mode 100644 index 00000000000..e69de29bb2d diff --git a/Package.swift.template b/Package.swift.template index 98dfa50efde..02219c6fadf 100644 --- a/Package.swift.template +++ b/Package.swift.template @@ -69,6 +69,13 @@ let products = deliverables([ "c++", ], ], + "executorch_etdump": [ + "sha256": "__SHA256_executorch_etdump__", + "sha256" + debug_suffix: "__SHA256_executorch_etdump_debug__", + "targets": [ + "executorch", + ], + ], "executorch_llm": [ "sha256": "__SHA256_executorch_llm__", "sha256" + debug_suffix: "__SHA256_executorch_llm_debug__", From b703bbb7e1aa10069dd50e2b4d2b709bc1a2e8e6 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Anthony Shoumikhin Date: Fri, 28 Aug 2026 15:52:21 -0700 Subject: [PATCH 2/2] Name the product executorch_dump, matching the framework the build produces The template declared executorch_etdump while the main-side half builds and publishes executorch_dump, so the two never agreed: the publish step would trip its "built framework has no product" check on every run. Renamed the product key, both checksum placeholders, and git-mv'd the two stub directories. Verified against the release job's own guards, with main's real framework list: with executorch_dump built both guards pass, and without it GUARD1 correctly blocks on the unsubstituted checksum rather than publishing. --- .../{executorch_etdump => executorch_dump}/dummy.swift | 0 .../dummy.swift | 0 Package.swift.template | 6 +++--- 3 files changed, 3 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) rename .Package.swift/{executorch_etdump => executorch_dump}/dummy.swift (100%) rename .Package.swift/{executorch_etdump_debug => executorch_dump_debug}/dummy.swift (100%) diff --git a/.Package.swift/executorch_etdump/dummy.swift b/.Package.swift/executorch_dump/dummy.swift similarity index 100% rename from .Package.swift/executorch_etdump/dummy.swift rename to .Package.swift/executorch_dump/dummy.swift diff --git a/.Package.swift/executorch_etdump_debug/dummy.swift b/.Package.swift/executorch_dump_debug/dummy.swift similarity index 100% rename from .Package.swift/executorch_etdump_debug/dummy.swift rename to .Package.swift/executorch_dump_debug/dummy.swift diff --git a/Package.swift.template b/Package.swift.template index 02219c6fadf..4924399bca3 100644 --- a/Package.swift.template +++ b/Package.swift.template @@ -69,9 +69,9 @@ let products = deliverables([ "c++", ], ], - "executorch_etdump": [ - "sha256": "__SHA256_executorch_etdump__", - "sha256" + debug_suffix: "__SHA256_executorch_etdump_debug__", + "executorch_dump": [ + "sha256": "__SHA256_executorch_dump__", + "sha256" + debug_suffix: "__SHA256_executorch_dump_debug__", "targets": [ "executorch", ],
