Epic: 2.3.0 #67
Description
Goal
2.3.0 ships the additive items of the roadmap's 2.3.0 section: an optional Cause on Fault<TFault>, the opt-in that withholds the fault name, a default value-object key over ulong, async assertions in Testing, and CatchAsync over a ValueTask with TraverseAsync on Option and Patch.
In scope and out of scope
In: additions, and fixes found along the way. Out: anything breaking, which waits for 3.0.0, and the dropped WS3 to WS6 work.
Done when
Every sub-issue is closed, the gate passes (prober replay --all, gate, seeds --all), v2.3.0 is tagged on the merge of release/2.3.0 into main, and the packages are on nuget.org. The release PR into main closes this epic.
