I noticed a flickering banner issue with the latest versions of the shader, Sodium, and Iris.
The angle at which the flickering starts seems to depend on multiple factors:
Time of day (sun position)
Player position
Viewing angle
To reproduce the issue, you may need to move around a bit and look at the banner from different angles. For me, it is easiest to notice in the morning when the sun is at a certain position.
I believe this issue started around the beginning of version 26.2, but I am not completely sure.
I have attached a GIF showing the issue. Please note that the low framerate of the recording makes the flickering appear slower than it actually does in-game.
The only workaround I have found so far is setting the detail quality to "Potato", which prevents the flickering.
