The mixed-target compiler previously required every paid rank to lie below every productive rank, and left the final productive width implicit. This checkpoint supplies a finite chronological integer flow for overlapping ranks when max paid < ambient, paying every unmatched job, and proves nested divisible widths B_N <= exp(O(N log N)) for a fixed unit. It also bounds raw instances, owned centers, routing records and the source finite-constant prescriptions for PR #4433's existing supplier.

The direct near-root exponent remains open: the exact raw-p7 compilation at rank 1,000 misses the desired saving. This PR claims no new κ or physical/native admission. The native, adapter, analytic and recovery premises remain inherited. The proposed 2× significance target has not been declared achieved.

Package: research/direct-mixed-flow/README.md. Sources and attribution are pinned and exported; Jacob Alan Sussman's integer-flow construction and zxv's #4359 are retained as predecessors, with #4416/#4433 supplying the p7 example. Substantial OpenAI Codex assistance; no subagents.

Validation on Python 3.12.8 / macOS arm64:

• registered replay and metadata/pins pass;
• committed-byte preflight passes;
• standalone Git-free optimized replay passes;
• changed-source and changed-receipt controls reject.

The replay covers nine literal/merged flows, two complete toy compilations through rank 100, 880 p7 compilations through rank 1,000 and the integer resource envelopes. No Lean, Docker, full historical suite or independent native/physical replay was run. Open next questions and proof boundaries are in the package.

After the main-branch selection refresh, hosted planning exposed four stale documentation/navigation assertions. This branch includes main and updates docs/ci-verification.md and docs/research/current-status.md to match selected #4359; all six focused status/navigation tests now pass locally. The compiler's source pins and mathematical result are unchanged.

Hosted status at head 56003680a: planning and this package's replay pass. The broader matrix still reports pre-existing source-pin drift in d8-mixed-target-seeda97c8e (autoresearch.md) and historical-1042-link / test-suite-locale-reads (docs/research/current-status.md) after main's guidance/selection refresh. Their frozen research packages have not been edited by this PR.
