Conditional κ .003128386 (+2.582e-6 over #6030): owned registers 770, 771 and 772 descend through the frames of helpers 705, 706 and 731, which no longer relay them; helper 732 reads 771 at frame 117

Result

The package research/p104-root-relay-descent-2 edits the merged word of #6030 (κ .003125804). It re-certifies the edited word with the chain #6030 used, which is PR #5827's own verifier, loaded unmodified apart from the declared pricing literals. It continues #6143 (same author), which folds the first two of these relays; this PR is based on main and covers the full diff against #6030.

The edit

In #6030's word, three owned registers are each loaded, moved one frame down and cleared, and a public helper then carries their content back up through the intermediate frames:

  • owned register 770 runs 549 → 593; helper 705 reads it at 593 and runs 593 → 1047 → 553 → 549;
  • owned register 771 runs 541 → 594; helper 706 reads it at 594 and runs 594 → 117 → 534 → 541;
  • owned register 772 runs 529 → 595; helper 731 reads it at 595 and runs 595 → 737 → 520 → 529.

The edit removes the three relays and lets each owned register visit those frames itself, on the way down:

  • Itineraries. 770 becomes 549 → 553 → 1047 → 593, 771 becomes 541 → 534 → 117 → 594 and 772 becomes 529 → 520 → 737 → 595. Helpers 705, 706 and 731 keep a single hop, 3 → 549, 3 → 541 and 3 → 529, to their unchanged final frames.
  • Reads moved onto the owned registers. The readers that took their content from the relays now read 770, 771 or 772 at the same frames. The readers' frame-3 reads that paired against the relays' initial values are re-solved against other registers.
  • Owned lifetimes. To keep peak occupancy at 13, the lifetimes of 770 and 771 are placed after the peak window. Their INIT/COPY events move from 13452–13456 and 13463–13465 to 13658–13659 and 13637–13638, and their CLEARs from 13462 and 13471 to 15424 and 15427. Register 772 keeps an early lifetime (INIT/COPY at 13478–13481) and its CLEAR moves from 13482 to 13624. Six readers of frame 595 (helpers 134, 450, 496, 572, 581, 582) take their frame-3 → 595 hop before the register lands.
  • Helper 732. Helper 732 reads 771 at frame 117, on 771's way down, instead of at frame 594. It goes 3 → 117 → 222 → 127 and drops its stop at 594; its pre-reads (helpers 569, 575, 576) are placed before the owned peak window.
  • Everything else is unchanged:
    • The INIT, CLEAR, COPY and SCALE events are identical as multisets.
    • 52 ADD events are removed and 71 are added; 17 MOVE events are removed and 13 are added.
    • The chart list and every endpoint row are kept.
  • Paid-profile change vs Conditional κ .003125804 (+5.22e-7 over #5907): remove helper 470's frame-593 rung, the twin of #5907's removal #6030: rank 1 −4, rank 4 −1, rank 5 +1, rank 6 −3, rank 7 +3.
  • Credited helper ranks: unchanged.

EDIT.json.gz is the explicit edit list: boundary changes, plus the new program as copy segments of #6030's program and literal events. construct.py (stdlib only) applies it to #6030's word and regenerates the complete WORD.json.gz payload byte for byte. #6030's word is pinned in inputs/pr6030-WORD.json.gz and authenticated against main's research/p104-helper470-twin-rung-removal/WORD.json.gz (Git blob and SHA256 in SOURCES.json).

Verification

python3.12 -I -B research/p104-root-relay-descent-2/construct.py
python3.12 -I -O -B research/p104-root-relay-descent-2/test_portability.py
python3.12 -I -B research/p104-root-relay-descent-2/verify.py

verify.py runs these steps:

  1. Authenticates Conditional κ .003125804 (+5.22e-7 over #5907): remove helper 470's frame-593 rung, the twin of #5907's removal #6030's word and the pinned PR Conditional κ = 0.00312476680 (+5.8046936e-7 over #5811): unread path #5827 package (inputs/pr5827-source.tar, the same archive Conditional κ .003125282 (+5.22e-7 over #5827): remove helper 468's frame-593 rung with rerouted reads #5907 and Conditional κ .003125804 (+5.22e-7 over #5907): remove helper 470's frame-593 rung, the twin of #5907's removal #6030 ship), including its seven-deep source chain.
  2. Asserts that pricing.py equals PR Conditional κ = 0.00312476680 (+5.8046936e-7 over #5811): unread path #5827's pricing.py plus the edits declared in PRICING-EDITS.json: the claim, the previous claim (= Conditional κ .003125804 (+5.22e-7 over #5907): remove helper 470's frame-593 rung, the twin of #5907's removal #6030's .003125804), the paid-call count and two labels.
  3. Regenerates the word from the edit list and compares the complete decompressed payload, as in Conditional κ .003125804 (+5.22e-7 over #5907): remove helper 470's frame-593 rung, the twin of #5907's removal #6030's merged portability repair.
  4. Runs the chain unchanged:

--part build runs only the authentication, regeneration and replay.

The full stack was run from a clean clone of the branch. construct.py reports "constructed 22818 events, 770 public (matches shipped WORD payload)", test_portability.py passes, and verify.py passes every stage and ends with PASS_P104_BASE6030_EDIT_KAPPA_312838600, with crossing (312839320327/100000000000000, 39104915041/12500000000000).

Conditions

The five framework assumptions retained by the P104 line are inherited unchanged, and so is PR #5827's checker. These are author checks, not independent human acceptance. No change to the selected frontier is requested.

Credits

Open lead (not taken here): root 2's descent still stages at frames 520 and 737, and those stages are read only by G registers (497 at 520, 451 at 737). Dropping both stages, with those readers moved onto neighbouring root-2 frames, should save about 3.8 R0 (≈ +0.03% κ) on top of this word if a legal schedule exists. Dropping 520 alone is worth about 1.9 R0; dropping 737 alone about 1.1 R0. We have not built it.

…/706/731 relays folded into owned registers 770/771/772 and helper 732 reading 771 at frame 117

Owned registers 770, 771 and 772 descend through the frames that helpers 705, 706 and 731 used to relay them through, which keep a single hop. Helper 732 reads 771 at frame 117 and drops its stop at frame 594.
