LV2 on Debian and Zynthian: the channel carries no LV2 worker #52

Open

Description

@linuxnow

Found while writing the own-host page (#27). In a clean Debian trixie container with the FreeMixer channel, apt-cache search mod-host lists only libmod-host-protocol; mod-host itself is in neither Debian nor the channel, so plugin-hostd can run CLAP plugins there and no LV2 ones. Zynthian's plugins are mostly LV2. Either publish mod-host DEBs (amd64 and arm64, bookworm and trixie) or finish #45 (omx-clap-host with libomx-clap-lv2 as the LV2 worker) and publish that. Done when the own-host page's steps work with an LV2 URI on Debian arm64 in CI.

    Parented under umbrella #1777 (plugin hosting). Old parent: no parent.

    In PR: #98 @4d0e47a
    The own-host page gets an LV2 block (lv2_worker omx-clap-host, add lv2:urn:openmixer:comp); CI runs it on bookworm and trixie, amd64 and arm64, and measures the gain of a sine through the instance (1.9953 +- 0.03). Sabotage: makeup 0 gave gain 1.0 and the step failed.
