Summary

Until now, the Build and Push Docker Image workflow ran on every push to main/develop and on every PR into develop, including commits that only edited the README.

This adds paths-ignore to both the push and pull_request triggers:

paths-ignore:
  - '**.md' # README.md, DEPLOYMENT.md, any Markdown in any folder
  - 'LICENSE'
  - '.github/dependabot.yml'

Behaviour

Change Builds image?
Only README / other .md / LICENSE / dependabot config No
Docs and code in the same push or PR Yes
Code only Yes (unchanged)
Version tag push (v*) Yes, always. Path filters don't apply to tag pushes

Note: if branch protection marks this workflow as a required status check, a docs-only PR would wait on a check that never runs. I haven't checked the branch protection settings.

Testing

This only changes workflow triggers (paths-ignore is standard GitHub Actions syntax). It can't be run outside GitHub Actions. It will be exercised once merged: the next README-only push should not start a build.

Pushes and pull requests that only change Markdown files, LICENSE or
the Dependabot config no longer trigger the Docker build. Version tag
pushes (v*) are not affected by path filters and still always build.
