Prepare 2.0.2 with API-key masking in request errors and typed bulk error messages, preserve HTTP status codes when error bodies are incomplete or invalid, and add Arabic (ar) to single and bulk lookups. Include the version bump, README and changelog together.

Existing public methods and Ruby 2.7+ support remain available. Successful response data and authentication are unchanged. Error details are copied without retaining the original exception; custom error details may be shortened.

Validation:

  • 62 local tests passed, including HTTP requests, Arabic, encoded keys, key changes, custom errors and unchanged raw responses. The 28 live-API tests were skipped.
  • The built and installed gem passed 50 HTTP checks covering single/bulk requests, JSON/XML, metadata, error masking, invalid responses and timeouts. All 14 executable README examples passed; the documented Gemfile constraint resolved the local 2.0.2 candidate.
  • Dependency scan found no advisory matches in the nine packages checked; source secret-pattern scan passed.
  • Tests, gem builds and installation passed in all eight CI jobs: Ruby 2.7, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 4.0 and JRuby.
  • Independent final code and documentation review found no remaining issues.
