Description

Remove the unnecessary async from the playback controller's default refresh callback while preserving its Promise<void> contract. Use HTTPS for the mock API's path-parsing base URL; mock dispatch still uses only the URL path and query and performs no network request.

This addresses the complete active Sonar baseline on master: one typescript:S7503 issue, plus the one unreviewed typescript:S5332 security hotspot. No issue statuses or suppressions were changed.

Roadmap Issues

Testing

  • npm run check: passed.
  • npm test: all 126 tests passed, including existing mock API coverage.
  • npm run build: passed; existing chunk-size advisory remains.
  • git diff --check: passed.

No new regression tests were added because these two behavior-preserving substitutions add no functionality: the default callback still resolves to undefined, and mock dispatch ignores the URL scheme. TypeScript validates the callback contract and the existing tests exercise mock dispatch. Rust code and dependencies are unchanged, so Rust checks were not run.

Hosted Sonar analysis completed successfully for 7d1d1c43e0c773fc121baabb50e295a8dd442ef3: zero active PR issues, zero unreviewed PR security hotspots, and quality gate OK. Both Sonar checks passed. The target master branch is unchanged; whole-branch closure remains subject to analysis after merge.

Type of Change

  • feat: New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
  • fix: Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • docs: Documentation only changes
  • style: Changes that do not affect the meaning of the code (white-space, formatting, missing semicolons, etc.)
  • refactor: Code change that neither fixes a bug nor adds a feature
  • perf: Code change that improves performance
  • test: Adding missing tests or correcting existing tests
  • build: Changes that affect the build system or external dependencies
  • ci: Changes to CI configuration files and scripts
  • chore: Other changes that don't modify src or test files
  • revert: Reverts a previous commit
  • BREAKING CHANGE: Introduces a breaking change (can be combined with any type above)
