[Urgent] Incomplete & Non-functional kernel source for Xiaomi 11T (agate/amber) – GPLv2 Violation

Dear Xiaomi Open Source Team / MiCode,
This is a formal request regarding the incomplete and unusable kernel source published for the Xiaomi 11T (codenames agate / amber).
After years of continuous requests from the community (starting as early as 2022), Xiaomi finally uploaded the agate-u-oss branch. However, this release is not a complete corresponding source as required by the GPLv2 license.
The current source is defective and insufficient for the following reasons:
Device Tree (DTS) is incomplete or incorrect
Proper device-specific defconfig is missing
Critical MediaTek drivers and modules are either missing or improperly integrated
The source cannot be cleanly compiled into a working kernel that matches the device’s hardware
As a result, the published source fails to meet the legal requirement of “complete corresponding source code” under GPLv2. Developers are still forced to rely on prebuilt kernels and reverse-engineered sources from related devices (ares, chopin, etc.).
This situation is unacceptable. The Xiaomi 11T was released in 2021. More than four years later, the community is still without a properly usable kernel source, despite repeated formal requests and reports.
We demand that Xiaomi:
Immediately release a complete, correct, and buildable kernel source for agate/amber that fully corresponds to the software running on the device.
Ensure the source includes all necessary Device Trees, defconfigs, and drivers required for a clean and functional build.
Provide a clear public response regarding this issue.
Failure to provide the complete corresponding source constitutes an ongoing GPLv2 violation. The community has already escalated this matter previously and will continue to do so if a proper release is not made.
We expect a prompt and serious response.

Hello GOODboy-shk,

This is 1tovgar, the developer and user of Xiaomi 11T aswell.
The current published kernel source at branch agate-u-oss does compile into a bootable and fully-working binary. I've tested that myself. There is no need for the kernel source to be reviewed again.
Please try compiling the kernel from the branch agate-u-oss of this repository using a Clang 11 (r383902b) and using it on a working boot.img for testing.
Also, please be more specific: which exact files are missing, and send the build logs here if you think something's wrong.

If the agate-u-oss branch is producing a bootable binary as @1tovgar notes, are you encountering specific link-time errors or symbol mismatches when attempting to integrate the MediaTek vendor blobs? Please provide the exact output from your make process, specifically if you are hitting errors related to missing headers in arch/arm64/boot/dts/mediatek/ or unresolved externals during the final vmlinux link stage. If the defconfig is indeed present, are you using make ARCH=arm64 CROSS_COMPILE=aarch64-linux-gnu- agate_defconfig and failing to locate the generated .config, or is the build failing later due to proprietary module dependencies?
