Change

M3.1 Flash is now generally available, so the built-in MiniMax model catalog drops the -Preview suffix:

• The first-run fallback catalog entry MiniMax-M3.1-Flash-Preview (M3.1-Flash-Preview) is now MiniMax-M3.1-Flash (M3.1-Flash).
• The managed preset default model is now minimax/MiniMax-M3.1-Flash.

The model definition (modalities, 512K/1M context options, thinking effort options, forced_on thinking, Files API capabilities) is unchanged and matches the MiniMax-M3.1-Flash entry served by the managed model snapshot. An existing synced managed snapshot remains authoritative, as before.

• PR labels: enhancement, cli, tui.

Validation

• pnpm verify (full profile) on 222d0e1: check:source, check:tsconfig, source export preview, test:release-tools, lint:tui, typecheck, build, check:standalone, test:artifact passed. test:capabilities had one failure in packages/tui/test/unit/update-runtime.test.ts ("heals receipts pinned to a Homebrew Cellar keg via the stable opt path"); it fails identically on origin/main (a79348f) on this machine because the local Homebrew Node 26 binary links libnode.147.dylib dynamically and cannot run from the test's copied Cellar. This PR does not touch packages/tui.
• Gates after test:capabilities run individually: test:status-contract, test:smoke, test:byok, test:policy, test:sandbox passed.
• Affected Vitest files run directly: 5 files, 156 tests passed.
• Performance: not applicable (catalog data change).
• NOT RUN: live managed-service request against MiniMax-M3.1-Flash; Windows/Linux.

Publication and contribution checks

• I have permission to contribute these changes under the existing licenses applicable to the changed files/packages; imported material and its provenance are identified and existing notices are preserved.
• No credentials, account data, real user content, internal source history or private review material is included.
• Added/removed source files were reviewed before regenerating release/public-source.json; new tests are declared in test/vitest-suites.json where applicable. (No files added or removed.)
• Shared English/Chinese documentation and capability/verification records are updated where applicable. Mock/offline results are not described as live-service acceptance.
