Summary

  • Stale status fixed. The three READMEs and the site said v0.1 and listed SVG, encryption, bookmarks, signatures and merging as missing. They now say 0.2 and list only what's still unsupported (HarfBuzz, right-to-left text, hyphenation, Knuth-Plass, multi-column text, form filling, PDF/A, tables of contents). Signing and merging point to the php-pdf guide.
  • Root feature list now covers lists, images, SVG, QR codes, rich text from HTML, PDF templates and placed content, bookmarks, encryption, and HTML and Word export.
  • "No HTML parser" reworded to "templates are not parsed as HTML", since Markup::html() reads HTML fragments.
  • CHANGELOG SVG entry no longer says it waits on a php-pdf release (core requires 1.26). The multi-format spec's "Future work" marks HTML input and bookmarks done (bookmarks are PDF-only).
  • Credit to upstream: a "Built on" section in the root README, a Credits section in the core and Laravel READMEs, a line near the top of the docx README, a section and footer on the site home page, a "Built on php-pdf" section in the guide intro, and a php-docx entry in NOTICE.md.

Docs only. Core, Laravel and DOCX test suites pass (the core README's code blocks run in the suite).

Review notes

  • The credit text says the php-pdf maintainer added even-odd SVG fills and faster font loading upstream when Papercut needed them. Worth a check that you're happy with that wording.
  • "If Papercut is useful to you, they deserve a star too" in the root README is a judgement call; cut it if it reads as too much.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

- READMEs and the site said v0.1 and listed SVG, encryption and
bookmarks as missing; all three have shipped. The status list now
names only what is still unsupported, and the root feature list
  covers what 0.2 added.
- "No HTML parser" no longer holds now that Markup::html() reads HTML
fragments; the README says templates aren't parsed as HTML instead.
- The CHANGELOG's SVG entry no longer waits on a php-pdf release, and
the multi-format spec marks HTML input and bookmarks as done.
- A "Built on" section in the root README, credits in each package
README, the site home and guide intro, and a php-docx entry in
  NOTICE.md give Denis Skripchenko's php-pdf and php-docx their due.
