PocketMC builds open-source desktop apps and ecosystem tooling to create, run, monitor, back up, and share Minecraft servers from your own device across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
PocketMC is an open-source organization focused on making Minecraft server hosting easier, safer, and more visual for everyday players, creators, and small communities.
Instead of wrestling with manual Java installations, terminal windows, port forwarding, reverse proxies, and unmonitored scripts, PocketMC provides native desktop applications for Windows, Linux, and macOS that turn hosting into a clean, guided workflow.
PocketMC is built for people who want full ownership and control of local hosting with the convenience and safety of a modern desktop app.

Your servers, worlds, backups, logs, configs, and runtimes stay on your own machine in the directory you select. |
PocketMC focuses on real server workflows and state visibility, not decorative dashboards pretending to be productivity tools. |
|
Backups, restores, path handling, locked files, provider failures, and update flows are treated with high safety standards. |
Simple enough for casual players hosting for friends, yet flexible enough for power users configuring custom JVM flags and ports. |
PocketMC welcomes community contributions across all repositories.
