feat(snapshot): expose effective roles and the role/permission catalog - #2
Conversation
The IdP now sends each subject's effective roles, with per-role expiry, and a catalog naming every role and projected permission (PoliNetworkOrg/auth#62). Both are additive to polinetwork.access-snapshot/v1 and optional in the consumer schema, so snapshots from older IdPs, including persisted ones, still parse. AccessSubject gains a roles map and AccessIndex gains hasRole(subject, role, now?), roles(subject, now?) and catalog(); the client gains hasRole(actor, role). A malformed catalog is dropped rather than failing the snapshot, since it is display data only.

WalkthroughThe access snapshot contract and fixture now include role assignments and role and permission catalogs. The access index provides effective-role queries and catalog access. The snapshot client exposes role checks. Snapshots without projected roles or catalogs remain supported. ChangesRole and Catalog Projection

Review comments at @docs/contract.md:
- Line 43: Update the Master Admin description in the contract so its
permissions list is limited to every projected permission key, not every catalog
key or role key. Preserve the existing `validUntil` behavior for break-glass
admins and Entra admin group members.
- Line 47: Update the `catalog` description to state that malformed role and
permission lists are handled independently: an invalid list becomes empty while
a valid list is retained. Distinguish this from a missing or malformed catalog
object, which returns two empty lists.

Consumer side of PoliNetworkOrg/auth#62. The backend needs each subject's roles and the role/permission names for a new e-signing feature (which roles or permissions may use each drive).
Contract, additive to
polinetwork.access-snapshot/v1:subjects[].roles:Record<roleKey, { validUntil: string | null }>, the effective roles (granted plus inherited through parents), with the same expiry rules as permissions. Optional in the consumer schema, but timestamps are checked likepermissions.catalog:{ roles: { key, name }[]; permissions: { key, name }[] }. Optional, and display data only: a missing or malformed catalog (or list) is dropped instead of making the snapshot invalid.AccessSubjectV1.roles,AccessCatalogV1andAccessSnapshotV1.catalogdescribe what the IdP emits after auth#62.API:
AccessSubject.roles: ReadonlyMap<string, number | null>(empty for older snapshots)AccessIndex.hasRole(subject, role, now?),AccessIndex.roles(subject, now?): string[], which mirrorhas/permissionsAccessIndex.catalog(): AccessCatalog, a frozen{ roles, permissions }of{ key, name }, with empty lists when the IdP does not send itAccessSnapshotClient.hasRole(actor, role), which mirrorshas(actor, permission)(stale snapshot, service actor or nosubgives false)AccessCatalog,AccessCatalogEntry,AccessCatalogV1Persisted snapshots without roles or a catalog still load (tested).
fixtures/snapshot-v1.jsonnow carries roles and a catalog.docs/contract.md§2.1 is updated, including the projection rule from auth#61 (every permission exceptidp:*, no longer prefixes).Released as a minor version (1.2.0) via the
