A plan, no code: docs/coverage-plan.md (linked from the README).

It proposes coverage dimensions beyond functions and basic blocks, grounded in what mirth-watch and the runtime do today. It ranks them by bugs caught per effort, using the 1,000-bug survey. Each dimension has its hook, denominator, cost, fuzzer feedback and report. It ends with a build order (M1–M7) and log-size budgets.

The top five:

  1. Branch arms.
  2. Configuration-tagged branches (feature, option, edition, target).
  3. Keyed per-query engine coverage, which fixes generic bodies being one site for every query.
  4. Diagnostics.
  5. Feature gates consulted while on or off.
