…hing Use the Windows tsdown cache on Windows hosts while preserving the Linux cache for Windows cross-builds. Keep checksum verification before extracting the target Node executable. Serialize fork releases across refs because every publishing run updates the same Nightly feed; retain non-cancelling behavior for an active release. Validated with the required changed-file gate, including formatting and 37 package typechecks, plus 58 packaging/manifest tests, actionlint on both workflows, and six executable cache-step cases.

Fork desktop builds disable automatic updates, and cached Windows packaging cannot find Vite+. Publish nightly GitHub releases with the fork's update feed, merge architecture manifests, and normalize Windows tool/cache paths. The workflow builds macOS, Windows, and Linux for x64 and arm64 and serializes nightly publishing separately from the legacy preview workflow.
macOS packaging accepts MACOS_APP_ID so the bundle and signing entitlements match a fork-owned Apple identifier. Publishing requires signed, notarized macOS builds. The Windows payload check accounts for required Codegraph dependencies. The existing cleanup regression now recognizes Git's newer broken-gitfile diagnostic and preserves the affected worktree. Older preview/source installations need one bootstrap install before in-app updates are available.
Validation: vp run check:changed passed at 755bd99, including all 175 packaging and storage-cleanup tests; actionlint passed. The cleanup regression failed before the fix. Apple Developer ID signing, provisioning, and a Developer-role notarization key are configured in encrypted Actions secrets; notarytool authentication succeeded. Previous signed validation exposed the Windows cached-path failure and legacy release cancellation. It is waiting for a hosted runner; publication, signing acceptance, and installation remain to be verified.
