Prepare v1.7.1 discovery release

What changed

• adds a search-oriented Store title and exact 120-character summary
• creates a behavior-neutral v1.7.1 package with distinct Browser Code icon bytes
• updates release docs and checks while keeping v1.8 session work out
• derives the MCP companion version from package metadata

Why

The public v1.7 listing uses technical copy and still renders a stale pre-v1.7 icon even though the distributed extension contains the Browser Code artwork.

Impact

No extension behavior or permissions change. The package remains local-first. Manual unpacked-browser validation and current Store screenshots remain required before upload.
