Builds on #6 (the radio source): only the last commit, docs/radio-stations.md plus two links to it, is new here. Kept separate so the radio can go in without the list if you'd rather not carry one.

Summary

  • docs/radio-stations.md: five stations whose own pages publish their stream addresses for listening in other players: Radio Paradise, WFMU, WFMU's Give the Drummer Radio, Radio Swiss Jazz, Deutschlandfunk Nova. Each links to the station's page the address comes from, and says whether its server lets the browser version play it.
  • Toaster doesn't read the list; it's documentation to copy an address from. Linked from the README's radio note and docs/how-it-works.md.
  • How they were picked (October 2026): the station publishes the address itself for other players, and nothing found in its terms objects. Left out: SomaFM (its terms refuse third-party apps, even noncommercial ones), FIP/Radio France (terms forbid playing outside their sites), and KEXP, NTS, dublab and others that don't publish an address on a page of their own. Radio Paradise has no terms page at all, and SRG SSR's group terms couldn't be read, so those two rest on their "use your own player" pages.

Test plan

  • Every listed address answers 200 with audio; the three marked for the browser send CORS headers; Radio Paradise and Radio Swiss Jazz played in Toaster in a browser.
  • Each link opens the station page that shows (or links the playlist with) the address.

The source menu (S) gets a fifth row, a radio button and a field for a stream's address: the
stream itself, MP3 or AAC from an Icecast or Shoutcast server, over http or https. Toaster comes
with no stations: a stream is its station's to offer, and many don't let apps come with theirs.
The last address that played is remembered with the other settings.

It plays through an audio element as a file does (playElement, now shared with useFile), read
cross-origin so the analysis hears it. The app's page is a file, which may read any stream that
way; on the web page a stream only plays if its server allows it, and an https page can't play an
http stream, which the error says. The CSP's media-src allows http and https for it. A stream
that ends or drops says so and brings back the source menu, as system audio does when it stops.
Stream titles (ICY metadata) aren't read, so the radio is untitled, like an input.

for copying an address into the radio. Linked from the README and docs/how-it-works.md.
