Summary

  • Adds make bump (PART=patch|minor|major|X.Y.Z, default patch) to bump the version in pyproject.toml and src/zenrows/__version__.py and relock via uv lock, staging all three files.
  • Adds make release, which runs bump, then commits, pushes to main, and runs gh release create vX.Y.Z --generate-notes — firing .github/workflows/release.yml's PyPI publish.
  • scripts/bump_version.py is the version-bump logic (keeps the two hardcoded version strings in sync; no dynamic versioning is set up).

Test plan

  • Ran make bump locally, confirmed 1.4.1 → 1.4.2 bump across both files plus uv.lock, then reverted (no release cut from this PR).
  • Confirm make release end-to-end on the next actual version bump.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Wraps the version-bump + relock + commit/push/release-create steps
that were previously done by hand across pyproject.toml and
src/zenrows/__version__.py.
