Summary

  • Treat denied camera permission as an expected cancellation: log the denial and skip camera initialization instead of aborting the NativeActivity.
  • Leave the granted-permission initialization path unchanged.

Validation

  • :camera:basic:assembleDebug passed for the configured Android ABIs using Android SDK 35, NDK 29, and CMake 4.1.0.
  • On Windows, this build required a temporary local-only forward-slash normalization of CMAKE_MODULE_PATH; those build-logic edits were reverted before commit.
  • No device, emulator, or camera was used; runtime behavior was not exercised.
