Chat Sessions Are Not Synced Between Desktop and Mobile Browsers & Problems Adding or Configuring Custom Providers #56473
Issue 1: Chat Sessions Are Not Synced Between Desktop and Mobile Browsers
I noticed an issue with chat session synchronization when using OpenCode Web UI across different devices.
When I create a new chat session using a web browser on my PC, the session does not appear when I access the same project through a web browser on my mobile device. I cannot find or access the session created on my PC.
Issue 2: Problems Adding or Configuring Custom Providers
Plugins
No response
OpenCode version
v2.0.31
Steps to reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:
Open OpenCode Web UI in a browser on a PC.
Open a project and create a new chat session.
Access the same project using a browser on a mobile device.
Check the list of chat sessions.
Actual Behavior:
The chat session created on the PC does not appear in the mobile browser, even when accessing the same project.
Thanks for the report! This issue has two separate problems, and there isn't enough detail yet to look into either one.
Issue 1: sessions not syncing between browsers
In 2.x the web UI gets the session list from the server. Two browsers connected to the same server should see the same sessions, so I need to know more about your setup:
How do you start the server? Please give the exact command, e.g. opencode web --hostname 0.0.0.0 --port 4096.
How does your phone connect to it? Which URL do you use (LAN IP, tunnel, reverse proxy), and is it http or https?
Did you open the project from the same folder on both devices? Did the session on the PC have at least one message sent?
What does the mobile browser show? A screenshot of each device would help: the PC with the session, and the phone without it.
Issue 2: custom providers
The issue only has the heading for this one. Please open a separate issue for it, with the steps you took, what you expected and the exact error you saw. If it's the same as #50650, a comment there is enough.
You can reply here with the details or edit the issue. If you edit it, please also leave a comment saying you've updated it, so we know you're done.

Closing this for now. We still don't have the details needed to look into either problem: how the server is started, how your phone connects to it, and the steps and error for the custom provider issue.
If this still happens on the latest 2.x, please open a new issue for each problem with those details and we'll take another look. For the custom provider problem, also check #50650, which may already cover it. Thanks!
