Update the test-tools clone reference from
v0.8.40to stablev0.8.41in Image Health Check, Build Package, and Build package for test images. Stable tag verified at tools merge commitb55decf1ef0de2a18f9edb1249f2030bd5aee442, released after citusdata/tools#438 merged and its package-test rerun passed.The shared tools fixes address pytest startup with
platformdirs==4.12.1and include the reviewed dependency-security updates. The newer runner environment appeared to mix ambient plugin metadata with old pinnedplatformdirs==4.2.2, producingModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'platformdirs.pytest_plugin'in all 22 jobs of the original run; the exact hosted metadata source remains unconfirmed.Net packaging change: exactly three tools-tag replacements. Original ambient pip/pytest commands, matrices, environments, test selection, and unrelated references remain unchanged; no venv workaround. Exact-content assertions and

544ecf84ebd5e389b90096cebca7258c8c6f1b1b(attempt 2): all three workflows have 22/22 successful matrix jobs and test steps (66/66 total), and all 22 approved test-image publication steps succeeded:Attempt 1 passed 63/63 jobs that reached pytest; three AlmaLinux9 image-build failures occurred before tools clone/pytest (two EPEL metadata HTTP 404 failures and one devtoolset-8 installation failure). Rerunning only those three failed jobs succeeded without code changes.
Test-image publication is approved; production image pushes retain the non-develop branch guard. Review requests remain pending for serhat andic (@serhatandic) and Onur Tirtir (@onurctirtir). Keep this PR open; no packaging merge or further tag creation.
