Install verified release payloads with ownership checks, recovery journals and separate consent for persistent tool and Java environment setup. Share Windows publication and registry handling between native PowerShell and Bash.

Add offline installer coverage, exact-byte release packaging, gated Pages deployment and maintainer publishing instructions.

Locate native PowerShell under the Windows system directory when a restricted Bash PATH omits it. Include that directory for nested CI calls and cover fallback in the delegation suite.

Use explicit empty-string assignments to satisfy the hosted ShellCheck gate.
Quote C-shell path literals and protect PATH comparisons and source arguments from further substitution. Add an execution sentinel and report each hosted native shell result without stopping at the first failure.
Start legacy BSD csh with a safe temporary HOME because it expands inherited HOME before parsing options or reading profiles. Retain metacharacter-rich tool and data paths in generated setup and document the upstream shell boundary.
Compare PATH entries through indexed quote-protected expansion. Legacy BSD csh re-expands foreach values when assigning its loop variable, which can execute backticked path text despite quoting the original list.
