Adds the October 2–8 weekly release series, led by A Smaller, Faster Java Server with a Spring-Style API. The parent compares local Linux HTTP startup, memory, throughput, executable size and compilation time, explains generated wiring and transactions, and introduces six scheduled follow-ups.
The follow-ups cover ParparVM optimizations, iOS tab-bar fidelity, smaller Gradle projects, enterprise tracing, desktop themes in browser apps, and release-quality gates. Includes seven 1024×512 JPEG headers, original tab-bar videos, screenshots, charts, diagrams and a downloadable benchmark reproduction bundle. Future-post links follow the publication schedule.
The HTTP comparison measures the lower-level
Benchhandler, separately from the Spring-style API walkthrough. Its source is pinned to measured revision60c4f310. The self-translation chart includes all sixteen recorded machine configurations, and the workload chart retains cases where HotSpot wins. Transaction control flow is illustrative pseudocode; source links point to master.Validation:
helpwith Gradle 8.14.2 / JDK 21.git diff --checkpassed.All native benchmarks were run locally. No native CI was dispatched.
