The installed app updates from the repository it was built in. An official Nightly updates from pingdotgg and drops the fork features (dictation), so the update button must point at fork builds, and the fork must keep producing them.

Changes

• .github/workflows/fork-release.yml (windows-latest, every 6 h, workflow_dispatch with force):
  • merges upstream/main into collin/main for the build only (no branch push; conflict fails the run);
  • skips when the latest release already names both commits;
  • builds the NSIS installer with GITHUB_REPOSITORY as update feed (owner: collissimo, channel: nightly) and the public relay/Clerk values from repository variables (T3 Connect);
  • publishes a prerelease v<x.y.z>-nightly.<date>.<10000+run> with installer, blockmap and nightly.yml. The offset keeps fork builds above upstream nightlies of the same day.
• Not copied from upstream: signing, WSL runtime, telemetry tokens, the Spectre MSVC install (only the build preflight needs it; a reused monitor skips it, and it stalled on the hosted runner).

Verified

• Run 39510730123 (via a temporary push trigger, now removed): success in ~7 min → v0.1.1-nightly.20261020.10004. nightly.yml names the installer; build log shows the publish config collissimo/t3code, channel: nightly, product name T3 Code (Nightly) and the relay/Clerk values.
• Not yet verified: the update button finding a newer fork release (needs the installed fork build plus a second release).

After merge: gh workflow enable fork-release.yml if GitHub disabled the schedule on the fork.
