You found a three-hour video that covers exactly what you need to learn. You watched it. You nodded along. It made sense at the time.
A week later you can't reproduce any of it.
Watching is passive. There's no structure telling you where one idea ends and the next begins, nothing asking you to recall what you just heard, no record of what you already covered, and no reason to ever come back to the parts you didn't really get. You end up with a bookmarks folder full of videos you "watched" and a vague sense that you should watch them again.
VideoCourse fixes the part that's missing: it turns the watching into studying.
Paste a link, get a course. Drop in the link to the video you want to learn from. In under a minute you get back a proper course — the material broken into milestones, the key concepts of each section pulled out, recall questions written for them, and a quiz at the end of each part.
Study milestone by milestone. Watch the relevant section, then work through it. The video sits alongside the course material, so you're never hunting for the right timestamp.
Test yourself instead of rereading. Each milestone gives you active recall prompts — you answer from memory first, then reveal. You mark honestly whether you got it or need to review it.
Take the quizzes. Multiple-choice checks per milestone, so you find out what didn't stick while you still have the video open.
Keep notes where they belong. Write notes against each milestone as you go. They save themselves while you type — you never press a save button, and nothing is lost if you close the tab.
Let the hard questions come back to you. Anything you mark as "needs review" returns the next day. Get it right and it goes quiet for a week. Get it right again and it retires. You don't schedule any of this; you just answer what's put in front of you.
Work one review queue across everything. A single review page collects every question that's due today from every course you've started, so daily practice is one short session rather than five separate ones.
Keep a streak. Study on a given day and your streak goes up. Miss a day and it resets. It's a small thing and it works.
Find your courses again. Your dashboard groups courses by subject automatically, and you can search by title or filter by whether you haven't started, are partway through, or have finished.
Share a course. Flip a switch and get a public read-only link you can send to a study partner, a colleague or a class. Turn it off and the link stops working.
Finish something. Complete a course to 100% and you can download a certificate for it.
Get a Monday recap. Once a week, an email arrives with your streak, where each course stands, and how many questions are waiting for you in the review queue.
Study on your phone. The full course, milestone navigation included, works on a small screen. Dark mode follows your system setting, or you can force it either way.
