Summary

Implements the hackproof new-hackathon scaffolding command to quickly initialize event configurations instead of manual copy-paste (fixes #27).

What has been built

  • CLI Subcommand: Added new-hackathon in apps/api/src/hackproof/cli.py with flags --slug, --name, --start, --end, --pull-start, and --output.
  • Interactive & Non-Interactive Support: Falls back to interactive prompts when flags are omitted, or executes fully headlessly when flags are supplied.
  • Smart Query Derivation: Computes sensible discovery queries (github_queries, code queries, and dependency fingerprints) tailored to the slug and human-readable name.
  • Pydantic Validation: Validates the generated structure against the Hackathon model before writing.
  • Next Steps Guidance: Prints exact subsequent commands to run (HACKPROOF_HACKATHON_FILE=..., sync, discover, scan, reconcile, export).

Acceptance Criteria & Testing

  • Unit tests added in apps/api/tests/test_new_hackathon.py:
    • Validates loading through Hackathon.model_validate(data).
    • Validates ISO date parsing and error handling when window end <= start.
    • Test suite passes with 100% green: 3 passed in 0.08s.
    • Linting clean: ruff check and ruff format 0 errors.
