Common.Hosting holds the OpenTelemetry setup that WebApi and BlazorApp both call, switched on by OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_ENDPOINT, so a local run or a test host exports nothing. Traces cover the incoming requests, the provider calls and every MongoDB command from the driver's own MongoDB.Driver source, the /healthz probes left out. Metrics come from ASP.NET Core, the HTTP clients and the runtime, and the logs go through the OpenTelemetry logger provider. The standard OTEL_* variables give the service name, the resource attributes and the protocol.
