DESCRIBE YOUR PR

The agent integration cards at the bottom of the docs homepage linked to /platform-redirect/ paths that no longer exist in the platform docs tree, so the redirect page could not find documentation for Mastra, Eve, Flue, or Vercel AI. OpenAI also sent users to its Python-only docs path.

  • Link Mastra, Eve, and Flue directly to their standalone JavaScript guides.
  • Route Vercel AI and OpenAI through their current integration paths.
  • When no platform preference has been saved, default Vercel AI and OpenAI to JavaScript/Node. A saved platform preference continues to take precedence.

eslint and prettier pass for the changed files. tsc --noEmit shows no new errors in the changed files; it reports an existing missing SVG module type because Next-generated types are unavailable in this environment. The Node integration redirects were verified to resolve successfully. The full build and visual QA have not been run.

Mastra, Eve, and Flue moved to standalone JavaScript guides, and Vercel AI
lives under /configuration/integrations/, so the homepage agent cards sent
users through /platform-redirect/ to paths no platform has, which renders
"We couldn't find documentation for this path on any platform".

Link Mastra, Eve, and Flue directly to their guides and point Vercel AI at
the JS integration page.

Request Review

Without a stored platform preference, the Vercel AI and OpenAI cards landed
on the platform picker. Add a defaultPlatform fallback to
PreferredPlatformLink and use javascript.node for both cards. Point OpenAI at
the JS integration page instead of the Python-only /agent-tracing/openai/.

Note to reviewers: For this one we also could link to the python side by default but I figured JS in general is a bigger target audience and defaulted to node. Happy to change tho.

The plan checks homepage loads, destination guide loads, JavaScript 404s, and client errors. An issue escalates when guide loads stay flat and 404s rise. An issue also escalates when homepage loads drop.

Monitoring in production

Services: sentry-docs.

Mention @change-monitor in a comment to update the plan.

Plan

What changed

Homepage Mastra, Eve, and Flue cards now open the JavaScript standalone guides. Vercel AI and OpenAI cards now use platform-redirect with a JavaScript Node default. The change is live after a sentry-docs deploy. Home renders only on the user docs site.

Risk

Broken guide hrefs send readers to 404 pages. A Home render failure hides the docs homepage. A bad default platform leaves Vercel AI and OpenAI on the empty redirect warning.

Intended effect

The new cards work when the three standalone guides gain loads relative to the homepage. absent looks like homepage loads holding while those guide loads stay in the baseline band. Card clicks have no event, so this is volume on the destination path, not a click count.

Signal Baseline Rule Source
Combined docs.page.load on /platforms/javascript/guides/mastra/, /eve/, and /flue/ vs homepage loads 10 guide loads and 986 homepage loads in 24h. Share is about 1.0%. Individuals were 2, 2, and 6. Confirmed when combined guide loads rise above 10 per 24h while homepage loads hold. Absent when homepage loads hold and combined guide loads stay at 6-10. Sentry sentry/docs production. docs.page.load with path equal to each guide. Window 2026-10-06T14:13Z to 2026-10-07T14:13Z.
Combined docs.page.load on paths that contain /configuration/integrations/vercelai or /openai 21 loads in 24h. Split was 15 and 6. Confirmed when this holds or rises above 21 per 24h. Absent when it falls below 15 while homepage loads hold. Same project and window. docs.page.load with path:* /configuration/integrations/vercelai* and path:* /configuration/integrations/openai*.

Regression watch

A bad Home render drops homepage loads. A bad href raises JavaScript 404s. A bad default platform raises platform-redirect pageloads. Client errors on the docs catch-all would show a Home crash.

Signal Baseline Rule Source
Homepage docs.page.load with page_type:home 986 in 24h. 5798 in 7d, about 828 per day. Detected when a 24h total falls below 800. Hold is 828-986 per 24h. Sentry sentry/docs production. Window 2026-10-06T14:13Z to 2026-10-07T14:13Z. 7d window 2026-09-30T14:13Z to 2026-10-07T14:13Z.
docs.page.not_found with requested_path:platforms/javascript 38-40 in 24h. Sitewide 404s were 123. Detected when JavaScript 404s rise above 40 per 24h. Hold is 38-40. Same project and 24h window.
Client error events in production 154 in 24h. 153 used transaction /:path*?. Transaction / was 0. Detected when 24h errors rise well above 154, or when transaction / leaves 0. Sentry sentry/docs errors. environment:production. Same 24h window. Traces sample at 30%.
Pageload or navigation spans for transaction /platform-redirect 60 sampled spans in 24h. Detected when this rises well above 60. A spike means more readers hit the empty redirect page. Sentry sentry/docs traces. span.op:[pageload, navigation] transaction:/platform-redirect environment:production. Same 24h window. Sampled at 30%.

Not observable

Homepage card clicks have no metric, so intended effect is destination volume only. The next= query on platform-redirect is not in metrics, so old /agent-tracing/ card hits cannot be counted. Hourly docs.page.load series returned zeros, so the homepage band uses 24h and 7d totals only. Client errors on /:path*? mix the homepage with every other docs page.

Nice!

Just spotted that flue has the wrong icon in the platform selector, might be cheap to fix this in one go

The platform selector looks up guide icons as `javascript-flue`. That key
was missing from PLATFORM_TO_ICON, so it fell back to the JavaScript icon.
