## Adding a new GUI

Due to a huge number of new GUI submissions, we're only accepting established
GUI clients. Please include a link to your project's release history that
shows that the project has been active for 3 years or more, as well as some
evidence that your project already has a significant userbase.

The [list of GUI clients](https://git-scm.com/downloads/guis) has been constructed by the community for a long time. If you want to add another tool you'll need to follow a few steps:

1. Add a new `.md` file with the GUI client details: data/guis
