I have read and followed the contribution guidelines.
I have read the guidance for submissions involving paid services.
The new skill is in the correct directory and follows naming conventions.
The content is structured with valid frontmatter and bundled references.
I have exercised representative installed-skill scenarios with GitHub Copilot (see qualification limits below).
I have run npm run build and updated the generated skill catalog.
This pull request targets main.
Description
Adds azure-logic-apps-standard-cli, a self-contained skill for Azure Logic Apps Standard developer workflows through the published Azure CLI logicapp extension.
Consumption-only workflow development is out of scope.
The skill supplies specialized command contracts and operational gates beyond generic
workflow JSON authoring: runtime readiness and process ownership, connector metadata
discovery, separate local/cloud identity authorization, native SDK testing prerequisites,
revision-guarded non-atomic changes, and truthful cancellation/replay outcomes.
The entry point routes agents to five mandatory bundled procedures for runtime,
connections/identity, live operations, testing, and packaging/deployment. All procedures
ship in the skill folder; there are no private wheel or external-skill dependencies.
Existing project layouts and optional workspaces are preserved, and managed identity
is the default for new connections unless explicitly overridden or unsupported.
Type of Contribution
New skill.
Validation and qualification limits
Repository skill validation and catalog generation completed locally.
Bundled relative links, YAML metadata, JSON examples, asset sizes, and source safeguard
coverage were checked during preparation.
Example command paths/options were compared with installed logicapp 1.0.0b1 help.
Three fresh Copilot CLI 1.0.103 sessions exercised offline authoring, replay approval,
and native-test consent using the installed skill. Exact prompts, observed reference
reads/actions, outcomes, and limitations are recorded in the skill README.
The offline session made the requested one-value workflow edit and preserved Stateful
kind. Replay/testing sessions loaded their mandatory bundled references and did not
attempt unapproved execution or acceptance flags. Shell execution was denied by the
evaluation harness; these are limited AI-driven smoke checks, not human acceptance
testing, unrestricted-tool qualification, or proof of universal adherence.
The edited synthetic project passed strict offline validation. A real offline ZIP
check confirmed host-root-relative exclusions remove custom fixtures, reports, and
a settings template while retaining required host/workflow content.
No Azure resources were mutated, hosts started, workflows invoked, or SDK test packages
restored as part of preparing this contribution.
Additional Notes
The extension baseline is 1.0.0b1 (preview). No production-readiness or universal
platform/connector qualification is claimed. Existing core Azure CLI commands are
distinguished from extension-owned preview commands.
Local/offline tasks do not authorize cloud mutation. Azure resources may incur charges;
provisioning, deployment, access changes, and replay require explicit authorization.
Native testing requires separately reviewed SDK terms, project trust, and opt-in restore.
SDK binaries are not bundled and the CLI license does not grant SDK redistribution rights.
This is practical community guidance for a Microsoft Azure service, not a product
announcement, sales material, or a claim of official service endorsement.

This README ships with the installed skill, but “it is not already published or listed” will be false once this PR adds the catalog entry. Rephrase the introduction as contributor guidance that remains accurate after publication.

Thanks @wsilveiranz. This is specific, useful guidance for the az logicapp extension (target-flag rules, context semantics, separate local and cloud principals, gated replay/cancel), and it complements the existing azure-logic-apps-expert agent. Small cleanup: the README's 'Awesome Copilot publication checklist' is contributor-facing and 'it is not already published or listed' will be wrong after merge; consider a short maintenance note instead. The gate run was cancelled, so please comment /rerun-checks.
