First noticed on: https://osv.dev/vulnerability/ROOT-APP-MAVEN-CVE-2026-5795 (20-ish events)
and a more striking example: https://osv.dev/vulnerability/ROOT-APP-PYPI-GHSA-rr7j-v2q5-chgv (couldn't count)
