Initial boot overwrites custom splash.png

I am not entirely sure whats happening.

But I have flashed an SD card with the Nightly build, as the stable is busted for me.
It looks like the first time it starts up, it reboot several times (2-3) and is maybe pulling an update during those reboots.
Regardlessly it is resetting the splash screen, which is not expected behavior.

The reboot is just to resize the image.
I think the image you is that the splash sceen is both in the boot splash screen and is also the desktop wallpaper. You need to change both

But as far as I can read I can only preload /boot/splash.png
What am I missing?

You need to update
/opt/custompios/background.png

Or update the path in this script:

FullPageOS/src/modules/fullpageos/filesystem/opt/custompios/scripts/run_onepageos
