Run the development container as a non-root user.
This image has no USER instruction, so npm run migrate and npm run start:dev run as root. Trivy reports DS-0002. Add USER node before CMD, then verify that /usr/app and mounted source files remain writable.

LGTM. Node 24.22.1 on the same Debian image patches the October 2026 Node.js security release.

What
Dockerfile, development.Dockerfile), CI workflows and local tooling, keeping the same Debian-based image. Why
Node.js shipped a security release on 2026-10-21 fixing 10 CVEs, including a high-severity remote code execution in the bundled Brotli decoder (CVE-2026-111497) and TLS hostname validation bypasses (CVE-2026-105483, CVE-2026-106069). 24.22.1 is the patched 24.x version.
Dependabot makes future Node updates arrive as reviewable PRs instead of depending on someone remembering to bump the pinned version.
