Backend & Infrastructure Engineer · Distributed Systems · Runtime Reliability · Java / Go
I build backend systems and work on the reliability problems beneath them — concurrency, state consistency, resource ownership, and failure recovery.
Open-source contributor to Apache Dubbo and ByteDance DeerFlow.
I work on the failure paths — where cancellation interrupts cleanup, timeouts leave outcomes uncertain, and stale ownership can corrupt durable state.
Contributing to the reliability and correctness of an open-source agent harness:
- MCP runtime & session lifecycle — ownership isolation, stale-binding fencing, selective reconciliation, and cross-worker consistency. (#6133, #6435, #6617)
- Durable state & concurrency — cancellation-safe task claims and persisted thread cleanup under concurrent writes. (#4966, #5535)
- Sandbox reliability — command deadlines, ambiguous execution outcomes, and session fencing. (#5634, #5711)
- Infrastructure — parallel test sharding, deployment consistency, and filesystem security. (#5137, #5625)
- RPC performance — optimized
NettyBackedChannelBuffertransfers by eliminating intermediate copies, with 4–5x improvement in the PR's transfer benchmarks. (#16027) - Test reliability — isolated Spring Boot configuration tests from leaked JVM system properties. (#16420)
Also contributed to OpenViking.
- tiny-store — Java microservices commerce backend featuring inventory reservation, transactional outbox, Kafka, Redis, saga orchestration, and idempotency.
- MAGI — Go-based multi-agent decision engine with deterministic state-machine orchestration, evidence validation, and structured consensus.
- yahoo-stock-mcp — TypeScript MCP server providing structured financial data access, local persistence, and research workflows.
