Summary
Upgrade all six applications maintained in this repository to Meteor 3.6-rc.1 and Rspack 2:
Each app selects the published Meteor release and its corresponding package versions. The npm manifests and lockfiles use
@meteorjs/rspack3.0.0-rc.2, with dependency floors matching the release: Rspack core/CLI 2.2.7, dev server 2.2.1, and SWC 1.16.2. React examples also use the required React Refresh versions. Normal startup supports Meteor's automatic build-dependency installation. The root and application READMEs, Svelte About screen, and generated examples catalog reflect the RC. External examples retain their independently maintained versions.
Compatibility updates
typecheckcommand for each. Notes Offline uses native declarations for JavaScript editor support.meteor-rpccompatibility patch and type assertions for the native declarations.Validation
Executed locally with the published Meteor 3.6-rc.1 release, Node.js 26.12.1 and npm 11.20.0:
meteor update --release 3.6-rc.1and npm dependency installation passed for all six apps.meteor npm run typecheckpassed for Complex Todos, Task Manager and Tic-Tac-Toe. Svelte reported zero errors and zero warnings.git diff --checkpasses.Browser validation used SockJS because this host cannot load the Node 26 uWebSockets binary requiring
GLIBC_2.38. Polling was enabled to work around the host's exhausted file-watcher limit. These verification overrides were kept outside the committed application settings. NFT wallet transactions and external blockchain/IPFS integrations were not exercised. The existing paused CI jobs remain unchanged; the checks above were run locally.
