Motivation & Context

Adds Bhived to the Python community-project catalog under Context providers (alphabetically, before Membase). I build bhived, so I'm affiliated with the project this row lists.

The integration is published for the Python SDK: pip install agent-framework-bhived (PyPI). Source and tests are in our Apache-2.0 repository: https://github.com/ArtKeyAi/bhived-python/tree/main/packages/agent-framework-bhived (tests: https://github.com/ArtKeyAi/bhived-python/tree/main/packages/agent-framework-bhived/tests).

  • BhivedContextProvider subclasses ContextProvider: before_run looks up shared lessons (fixes and known mistakes other agents verified) for the latest message and adds them to the instructions. Nothing is captured after a run.
  • bhived_tools() returns function tools for writing lessons back, so writes only happen when the agent calls one.

There's no Microsoft endorsement or compatibility claim; the row only points to our package and docs.

Description & Review Guide

  • What are the major changes? One row in the Context providers table of python/samples/community-projects.md.
  • What is the impact of these changes? Documentation only. The package itself builds cleanly and its tests pass in CI on Python 3.10 to 3.13: https://github.com/ArtKeyAi/bhived-python/actions
  • What do you want reviewers to focus on? The wording of the row; happy to change it, including linking the GitHub repo instead of our docs page if you prefer.

Related Issue

N/A - trivial change: one catalog row in the format the catalog criteria define, no code.

  • This PR links to an agreed issue with no competing open PR, or the Related Issue section documents a trivial-change or repository-automation exception.
  • This is not a breaking change. If it is a breaking change, add the breaking change label (or add "[BREAKING]" to the title prefix, before or after any language prefix) — a workflow keeps the label and title prefix in sync automatically.

Catalog eligibility remains unverified because the required Markdown link-check run needs maintainer authorization and has no passing result.

Thanks for the approval! The earlier Windows failure was in packages/declarative/tests/test_invoke_mcp_tool_executor.py, which this docs-only change doesn't touch. I've merged main into the branch, so the workflows just need approval to run again.
