Motivation & Context

The evaluate_with_rubric_sample.py module docstring points readers at the Rubric evaluators guide, but that Learn URL no longer resolves. https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/ai-foundry/concepts/evaluation-evaluators/rubric-evaluators answers 302 to /en-us/azure/ai-foundry/..., and that target returns 404. The page is now published under the foundry docs root, so the See: reference in the sample should follow it.

This is a dead-link fix in documentation text; it does not change sample behavior, configuration, or public API.

Description & Review Guide

  • What are the major changes? One line in a module docstring: the Learn URL for the Rubric evaluators guide is updated from the ai-foundry path to the current foundry path.
  • What is the impact of these changes? None at runtime. Readers following the sample's See: link land on the live guide instead of a 404.
  • What do you want reviewers to focus on? Whether https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/foundry/concepts/evaluation-evaluators/rubric-evaluators is the target you prefer; the page title is "Rubric evaluators - Microsoft Foundry | Microsoft Learn", and it is the page the sample's prose describes.

Related Issue

N/A - trivial change: a single broken documentation link inside a docstring, where the intended destination is not in dispute.

AI Assistance

  • No material AI assistance was used.
  • This is an AI-assisted contribution. I reviewed, understood, and verified all submitted content and accept responsibility for it.

AI assistance details: The link replacement and the URL checks were prepared with an AI coding assistant. I verified the result myself: the old URL 404s after its redirect, the new URL returns 200 and serves the Rubric evaluators page, the file still parses with ast.parse, and the diff is a single line in one file.

Contribution Checklist

  • The code builds clean without any errors or warnings
  • All unit tests pass, and I have added new tests where possible
  • The PR follows the Contribution Guidelines
  • This PR links to an agreed issue with no competing open PR, or the Related Issue section documents a trivial-change or repository-automation exception.
  • This is not a breaking change. If it is a breaking change, add the breaking change label (or add "[BREAKING]" to the title prefix, before or after any language prefix) — a workflow keeps the label and title prefix in sync automatically.

The build and test boxes are left unchecked because the change only touches a docstring string; no Python source, test, or packaging file is modified.
