maintenance: bump the npm group with 32 updates - #635
To install Sass 1.106.0, download one of the packages below and add it to your PATH, or see the Sass website for full installation instructions.
Changes
Don't normalize CSS escapes in statement contexts that can contain interpolation. For example, @f\6Fo is now emitted as written rather than normalized to @foo.
Fix a bug where quotes would be removed from attribute selector values that contained backslashes.
Fix invalid source spans that could cause crashes when encountering a syntax error in selectors or media queries that also contain escape sequences.
Fix a bug where the indented syntax parser would crash when parsing a file where the first statement was indented and appeared after the first line.
Fix a bug that could cause crashes when encountering errors or warnings in interpolations that contain patterns like // */.
Potentially breaking compatibility fix: CSS escape codes whose values are 0, for Unicode surrogates, or greater than the maximum allowed code point are now consistently normalized to U+FFFD REPLACEMENT CHARACTER in expression contexts. Previously, in some cases these were instead normalized to the normalized form of the original escape sequence, which violates the principle that all escape sequences for identical values should be normalized the same way. In other cases, these would simply throw errors.
As a special case, \0 on its own will continue to be normalized to \0 to support historical CSS hacks.
Potentially breaking bug fix: Throw an error for mixins and functions that have rest parameters which are the same as normal parameters. Previously, the positional parameters wouldn't be accessible and calling such a mixin or function with a named argument would crash the compiler.
Potentially breaking bug fix: Fix various cases where using a CSS escape code at the beginning of an identifier would change parsing behavior versus using the character directly.
Potentially breaking bug fix: When a number's unit is ambiguous with a numeric exponent, the unit is now serialized as an escape code rather than a literal e to avoid being interpreted as an exponent by CSS.
Potentially breaking bug fix: Don't parse a CSS escape code for U+45 LATIN CAPITAL LETTER E or U+65 LATIN LOWERCASE LETTER E as an exponent in @keyframes percentage selectors.
Potentially breaking bug fix: Properly normalize underscores written as CSS escape codes in variable, mixin, and function names.

Full details: Title check
Explanation
The title "maintenance: bump the npm group with 32 updates" describes the main change: a grouped dependency bump of 32 npm packages. The raw summary lists only five development dependency bumps in package.json, and the PR objectives mention the 32-package scope. The title is accurate in kind, and the 32-count matches the PR objectives. The title is a concise, single sentence that a teammate scanning history can understand. The count and the dependency scope cannot be verified against package-lock.json, which is excluded from review.
Full details: Docstring Coverage
Explanation
No functions found in the changed files to evaluate docstring coverage. Skipping docstring coverage check. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff. Analyzed 0 functions across 0 files. (1 skipped: 1 unsupported.)
Full details: Stable And Deterministic Test Names
Explanation
PASS: The PR changes only package.json and package-lock.json. The diff contains dependency version and lockfile updates only, with no Ginkgo test files, test declarations, or test-title changes. Therefore, it introduces no unstable or overly specific test names.
Full details: Test Structure And Quality
Explanation
PASS. The pull request changes only package.json and package-lock.json, both for npm dependency versions. It adds or modifies no Ginkgo test code, It blocks, cluster operations, waits, assertions, setup, or cleanup.
Full details: Microshift Test Compatibility
Explanation
The pull request changes only package.json and package-lock.json. The diff adds no Ginkgo tests or test declarations such as It(), Describe(), Context(), or When(). Therefore, the MicroShift test compatibility check is not applicable.
Full details: Topology-Aware Scheduling Compatibility
Explanation
PASS — The pull request changes only package.json and package-lock.json. The diff contains dependency version and lockfile updates only. It adds or modifies no deployment manifests, operators, controllers, replicas, affinities, topology spread constraints, node selectors, tolerations, or PDBs.
Full details: Ote Binary Stdout Contract
Explanation
The check is not applicable to this pull request. The reviewed range changes only package.json and package-lock.json. It changes npm dependency versions and contains no Go files, OTE binary code, suite setup, or process-level stdout writes.
Full details: Ipv6 And Disconnected Network Test Compatibility
Explanation
PASS: The pull request changes only package.json and package-lock.json. The diff adds no Ginkgo e2e tests or test-like source files, and it introduces no IPv4 networking assumptions or external connectivity in tests.
Full details: No-Weak-Crypto
Explanation
PASS. The pull request changes only package.json and package-lock.json dependency versions. No changed line uses MD5, SHA-1, DES, RC4, 3DES, Blowfish, ECB, custom cryptography, or non-constant-time secret comparison. The existing md5 lockfile package is unchanged, so it is not introduced by this pull request.
Full details: Container-Privileges
Explanation
PASS: The PR changes only package.json and package-lock.json. The patch contains no container or Kubernetes manifests and introduces none of the flagged settings: privileged, hostPID, hostNetwork, hostIPC, SYS_ADMIN, allowPrivilegeEscalation, or root execution configuration.
Full details: No-Sensitive-Data-In-Logs
Explanation
PASS: The pull request changes only package.json and package-lock.json. The diff contains dependency versions, registry URLs, integrity hashes, and dependency metadata. It adds no logging calls or log-related code that could expose sensitive data.

I'm waiting for a openshift member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work.
Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.
Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.
