Update Go imports, generated CRDs, and image selection for registry v2. Remove SQLite-backed provider tests and obsolete Kiali fixture generation because registry v2 no longer contains the SQLite package. Keep the configmap server image on the v1 release series. Description of the change:
Update
github.com/operator-framework/apitov0.46.0and migrate Go imports and the direct dependency togithub.com/operator-framework/operator-registry/v2@v2.0.0-alpha-3. Regenerate vendored dependencies and the API CRDs copied into the chart. Registry v2 requires Go 1.26.5.Remove the three package-server provider tests that require registry's removed SQLite package, while retaining the fake-client package-manifest tests. Remove the unused SQLite Kiali fixture generator and Dockerfile. The v2
opmimage is used for bundle operations; the configmap server image remains pinned to the available v1.74.0 release because registry v2 does not produce it.This PR has two signed-off commits: source/dependency/code changes, then vendor-only changes.
The
go-verdiffcheck requires theoverride-go-verdifflabel for the Go version update required by registry v2.Motivation for the change:
Consume the tagged API and registry v2 releases while keeping OLM v0's remaining legacy catalog serving path usable.
Architectural changes:
None to OLM runtime APIs. The Go module import path changes to
/v2; the legacy configmap server image remains on v1.Testing remarks:
