Absolute Johannes factotum
- SCP-703-KO (?)
- SCP-703-KO is an anomalous entity that offers résumé writing services. It can create perfect résumés that guarantee job acceptance because it mysteriously knows everything about a person and can even alter any document, including its own containment reports, to fit a résumé format. Despite the Foundation's efforts to contain it by blocking communications, it remains uncontained and continues to reach new users through unknown means, making it difficult to track or stop.
- Island of California (?)
- The "Island of California" refers to a widespread historical misconception, prominent from the 16th to the 18th centuries, that the Baja California peninsula was a large island separated from mainland North America by a strait, which is now known as the Gulf of California. This significant cartographic error was perpetuated on many maps despite early explorations, such as those by Francisco de Ulloa in 1539, which indicated it was a peninsula. The myth was partly inspired by a 1510 romance novel describing a mythical island of Amazonian women named California and was further spread through copying of maps and possibly a stolen map from a Spanish friar in the early 1600s. The misconception was finally settled in the mid-18th century by Jesuit missionaries and explorers like Eusebio Francisco Kino, whose overland expeditions confirmed the land connection.
